About Receipt Maker

Receipt Maker is a completely free online receipt generator designed for freelancers, small businesses, and sole proprietors. All processing happens entirely in your browser—none of your data is ever sent to a server, keeping your sensitive business information secure.

Fill in the receipt number, issue date, recipient name, amount, tax-included or tax-excluded selection, consumption tax rate, transaction description, issuer name, and issuer address to instantly generate a professionally formatted receipt PDF compliant with Japanese business standards.

The automatic tax back-calculation feature prevents computation errors. For amounts of 50,000 yen or more, a revenue stamp field is automatically displayed to support legal compliance. The generated PDF can be used directly for sending to business partners or for accounting records, greatly streamlining receipt issuance. You can also record the payment method (cash, bank transfer, credit card, etc.) for enhanced transaction tracking.

How to use Receipt Maker

  1. Set the receipt number (e.g., R-001) and issue date
  2. Enter the recipient name in the recipient field (individual or company)
  3. Enter the amount, select tax-included or tax-excluded option, and set the consumption tax rate
  4. Enter the transaction description in the remarks section (product name, service details, etc.)
  5. Fill in the issuer name and address. Multi-line addresses are supported
  6. Optionally select a payment method, configure the revenue stamp field if needed, then click 'Print / Save PDF' to download
