Box Plot Maker

A box plot is a compact chart for understanding variation, median, quartiles, interquartile range, whiskers, and outliers at a glance. It is useful when comparing distributions across groups such as department sales, test scores, measurements, processing times, or survey results.

This Box Plot Maker reads CSV-style "group, value" data or row-based lists such as "A: 12, 15, 18" and renders an SVG box plot directly in your browser. It automatically calculates median, Q1, Q3, IQR, whisker bounds, outliers, mean, and sample count, then shows the same values in a statistics table. You can toggle outlier markers, edit the chart title, change the main color, save the SVG, and copy statistics as CSV for reports or follow-up analysis.

All processing happens locally in the browser. That makes it suitable for internal KPI data, research notes, classroom examples, and personal measurements that should not be uploaded to an external service. Use it as a quick preview before building a spreadsheet chart, or as a lightweight way to inspect skew, spread, and possible outliers.
