PDFファイルには、ビューアアプリケーションで開いたときの表示方法を指定するビューア設定（Viewer Preferences）を埋め込むことができます。たとえば、ページレイアウトを「単一ページ」「見開き表示」「連続スクロール」に設定したり、ファイルを開いたときに「しおり（ブックマーク）パネル」や「サムネイルパネル」を自動で表示させたり、全画面モードで開くように指定することが可能です。さらに、ツールバーやメニューバーの非表示、ウィンドウの中央配置、ウィンドウサイズの自動フィット、ドキュメントタイトルの表示といった詳細なウィンドウ設定も制御できます。
初期ズームレベルの設定（ページ全体に合わせる、ページ幅に合わせる、ページ高さに合わせる、またはカスタム倍率）や、ファイル開封時に表示する最初のページを指定することも可能です。これらの設定は、プレゼンテーション用PDFをフルスクリーンで表示したい場合や、電子書籍を見開きレイアウトで読みやすくしたい場合、社内資料のナビゲーションを改善するためにしおりパネルを自動表示したい場合など、さまざまなシーンで役立ちます。

PDF files can embed Viewer Preferences that control how the document appears when opened in a PDF viewer application. For example, you can set the page layout to single page, two-column, or two-page spread; specify whether bookmarks, thumbnails, or full-screen mode should be active on open; and control window-level options like hiding the toolbar and menubar, centering the window, fitting the window to the page size, and displaying the document title in the title bar.
You can also configure the initial zoom level—fitting to page, height, width, or custom percentage—and specify which page should display when the file is first opened. These settings are useful in many scenarios: full-screen presentations, e-books with facing page layouts, corporate documents with automatic bookmark panels for easy navigation, and kiosk-mode displays where toolbars should be hidden. This tool also includes an option to remove all existing preferences, returning the PDF to its default viewing state.

- ビューア設定を変更したいPDFファイルをドラッグ＆ドロップ、またはクリックして選択します。
- ページレイアウト（単一ページ・連続ページ・見開き）やページモード（しおり・サムネイル・全画面）を選択し、初期ズームレベルと最初のページを指定します。
- ツールバー非表示やウィンドウ中央配置などのウィンドウオプションを設定します。必要に応じて、すべての既存設定をリセットするオプションも選択できます。
- 「設定を適用してダウンロード」ボタンを押して、ビューア設定が埋め込まれたPDFを保存します。
- Drag and drop a PDF file or click to select the file you want to configure.
- Choose page layout (single page, continuous, two-page spread), page mode (bookmarks, thumbnails, full screen), initial zoom level (fit to page, width, height, or custom percentage), and the first page to display.
- Set window options like hide toolbar, center window, fit window, and display document title. Optionally reset all existing preferences to restore default viewing behavior.
- Click the download button to save the PDF with your viewer preferences applied.
