About EXIF Scrubber
The selected image is drawn onto a canvas and saved as a new image. The original EXIF block is not copied, so timestamps or location fields stored there are not carried into the output.
The initial check detects EXIF blocks in JPEG, PNG, and WebP. It does not display individual GPS or camera fields. Visible content, including addresses or faces in the photograph itself, remains unchanged.
JPEG and WebP are re-encoded, so image quality and file size may change. Images are processed one at a time. Keep the original and review the appearance of the saved image.
