About Halftone Image Maker
Halftone processing represents the light and shade in your photo with differently sized dots. Make newspaper-style monochrome or two-color pop-art images from pets, everyday photos and street scenes. Pick a color preview, then customize the ink and paper colors.
Halftone + edges overlays the contours of the photo. Switch between the original and edited image to compare detail. Halftone PNGs keep the aspect ratio and transparency, with a maximum long edge of 2,400px.
Edges only keeps the original edge-map tool: adjust threshold and strength, sharp or soft output, and white or black lines. Save edge maps at the original dimensions.
Supports browser-readable images such as PNG, JPEG and WebP, up to 25MB and 24 megapixels. Animated images are processed as one still frame. Samples load only when selected. Your own images stay on your device.
How to use Halftone Image Maker
- Drag and drop an image, click to select one, or try a sample.
- Choose Halftone, Halftone + edges, or Edges only. Adjust colors and dot size.
- Compare the original with the result, then choose Save PNG.
