Image Line Art Extractor

Image Line Art Extractor turns photos and illustrations into clean line-art PNG files. Instead of using a full-color image as a draft, the tool extracts visible contours and simplifies the image into black lines on white or a transparent line-art layer.

It is useful for ControlNet line-art references, illustration drafts, object and building outlines, printable coloring bases, and quick traced images for documents. Increasing detection captures more fine detail, while lowering it keeps only large shapes. Line weight can also be adjusted for thin ink-like output or bolder drafting lines.

On first load, a simple anime-style town sample image is already processed so users can understand the result before uploading their own file. All processing runs locally in the browser with Canvas, and the image is not sent to an external server.
