Photo Pixel Art Maker

Create a pixel art icon from a photo of yourself, a pet or a trip. Crop to a square with zoom and horizontal/vertical positioning, or fit the whole image with transparent margins.

Choose 8×8, 16×16, 32×32 or 64×64 pixels and compare up to 16 colors extracted from the photo, 16 retro colors and four green tones. This reduces resolution and colors; it does not use AI to redraw people or objects.

Refine the result with pen, eraser, line, rectangle, circle, fill and picker, or start from a blank canvas. Undo stores up to 50 actions. Changing photo settings does not automatically overwrite your drawing; use the edit button to apply them.

Export at 1×–32× integer scale for crisp pixel edges. The default 32-pixel grid saves at 1024×1024px. Grid lines are excluded from the PNG. Margins and erased cells remain transparent. Semi-transparent input pixels become either transparent or opaque.
