About PDF Add Links

There are many situations where you need to add hyperlinks to PDF files. Embedding reference URLs in reports and presentations, linking product images in catalogs to websites, creating jump links from table of contents to sections in manuals — linked PDFs significantly improve the usability of digital documents.

This tool lets you add clickable URL links to specified areas (position and size in percentages) on specified pages of your PDF. You can add multiple links at once, each on different pages with different URLs. Link areas are displayed with a blue border, and clicking them opens the specified URL in a browser.

All processing runs locally using pdf-lib, so your PDF data is never uploaded to any server. Perfect for creating interactive PDFs for internal documents, catalogs, manuals, and portfolios.

How to use PDF Add Links

  1. Drag and drop a PDF file or click to select one.
  2. Specify the URL, target page, and link area position/size, then add. You can add multiple links.
  3. Click the download button to save the PDF with links added.

Benefits of PDF Add Links

  • Add multiple links across different pages at once, making it easy to create interactive PDFs.
  • Percentage-based positioning ensures accurate placement regardless of page size.
  • Entirely browser-based processing keeps your PDF data private and never uploads it to any server.
