## PDFブックマークの重要性

## Why PDF Bookmarks Matter
PDF bookmarks, also known as outlines, appear in the sidebar of PDF viewers and act like a table of contents. They help readers jump to chapters or sections in long reports, academic papers, e-books, and manuals without scrolling page by page.
## The Problem with Current Tools
Many PDFs are exported without bookmarks. Desktop PDF editors can add them later, but a title-and-page-number workflow is often enough when you only need a flat outline for chapters or sections.
Many online PDF services focus on merge, compress, split, and conversion tasks, and some do not provide a lightweight outline editor. This tool fills that niche by adding navigation entries from plain text without installing desktop software.
## Our Solution
Enter each bookmark as a line in the format "Title,Page Number" and the tool adds outline items to your PDF. If a title contains commas, the last comma is used as the page-number delimiter, and page numbers are checked against the PDF page count. Built with pdf-lib for client-side processing, it edits the PDF without server-side uploading.
Input validation helps detect invalid lines and out-of-range page numbers. Japanese titles and other Unicode text can be encoded as bookmark titles.

- ブックマークを追加したいPDFファイルをドラッグ＆ドロップ、またはクリックして選択します。
- テキストエリアに「タイトル,ページ番号」形式でブックマークを入力します（1行に1つ）。例：「第1章 はじめに,1」
- 「ブックマーク付きPDFをダウンロード」ボタンを押して、ブックマークが設定されたPDFを保存します。
- Drag and drop a PDF file or click to select one.
