PDF Annotate

Adding comments and notes to PDF documents is a common need in business. Whether you are reviewing a contract, adding supplementary explanations to a proposal, or noting questions on a report, the use cases are extensive.

This tool lets you upload a PDF and set annotation text, page number, position (X and Y as percentages), and color to insert standard PDF text annotations (sticky notes / comments). You can add multiple annotations at once, each with different pages, positions, colors, and text — making it easy to handle complex review workflows. Four colors are supported — yellow, green, blue, and red — so you can differentiate by review priority or comment type.

The annotations appear as sticky-note icons in PDF viewers like Adobe Acrobat Reader; clicking them reveals the comment text. All processing runs locally in your browser using pdf-lib, so sensitive PDF data is never uploaded to any server. Built-in undo and redo functions make it easy to recover from any mistakes.
