Business documents, reports, contracts, manuals, and other PDFs often need a repeated header or footer. Adding page numbers, total pages, dates, document names, or management codes helps readers keep track of the file after printing or sharing.
Header and footer text currently supports ASCII letters, numbers, and symbols. Placeholders such as {page} for the current page, {total} for total pages, and {date} for today's date in YYYY-MM-DD format can insert page-specific values. Alignment can be set to left, center, or right, and margins can be adjusted in points.
Choose Helvetica, Courier, or Times Roman, and set the text color to black, gray, or white. The PDF is modified in the browser with pdf-lib, so the workflow is suitable when you prefer not to use an upload-based converter. Japanese text is not supported by the current embedded font setup, and the UI validates input as ASCII-only.
