PDFのページラベルは、PDFビューアーのページナビゲーションバーに表示されるページ番号のことです。論文や書籍では、序章・目次にローマ数字（i, ii, iii）、本文にアラビア数字（1, 2, 3）、付録にアルファベット（A-1, A-2）を使うのが一般的です。このメタデータはPDFリーダーの「ページへ移動」機能やサムネイルナビゲーションに反映されます。
PDFを結合したり編集したりすると、ページラベルが失われたり不正確になることがあります。このツールでは、PDFの各セクションごとにページラベルのスタイル（アラビア数字、ローマ数字大文字/小文字、アルファベット大文字/小文字、プレフィックスのみ）、プレフィックス、開始番号を柔軟に設定できます。スタイルオプションには「なし（プレフィックスのみ）」も含まれており、複雑な要件にも対応可能です。
複数のラベルセクションを定義でき、例えば「1〜4ページ目はローマ数字小文字、5〜100ページ目はアラビア数字で1から開始、101ページ目以降は「Appendix-」プレフィックス付き」のような複雑な設定が可能です。上下移動ボタンでセクションの順序も自由に入れ替えられるため、複数パターンの試行錯誤も容易です。ブラウザ内処理で、PDFデータがサーバーに送信されることはありません。セキュリティが重要な機密文書でも安心です。

PDF page labels are the page identifiers displayed in the viewer's navigation bar. In academic papers and books, it is common to use lowercase Roman numerals (i, ii, iii) for preface and table of contents, Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) for the body, and letter prefixes (A-1, A-2) for appendices.
However, page labels can be lost or become inaccurate when merging or editing PDFs. This tool lets you configure page label style (Arabic, uppercase/lowercase Roman, uppercase/lowercase letters), prefix, and starting number for each section of your PDF.
You can define multiple label sections — for example, pages 1-4 use lowercase Roman numerals, and pages 5 onward use Arabic numbers starting from 1. The up/down buttons let you reorder sections freely, making it easy to experiment with different configurations.
All processing runs locally in the browser using pdf-lib, so your PDF data is never uploaded. Perfect for academic papers, books, manuals, and formal reports that require proper page numbering.

- ページラベルを設定したいPDFファイルをドラッグ＆ドロップ、またはクリックして選択します。
- セクションごとに開始ページ、ラベルスタイル（ローマ数字/アラビア数字/アルファベット）、プレフィックス、開始番号を設定します。
- 上下矢印ボタンでセクションの順序を変更することもできます。複数セクションを試行錯誤する場合に便利です。
- 「ページラベルを設定してダウンロード」ボタンを押して保存します。
- Drag and drop a PDF file or click to select one.
- For each section, configure the start page, label style (Roman/Arabic/letters), prefix, and starting number.
- Use the up/down arrow buttons to reorder sections. This is helpful when experimenting with multiple label sections.
- Click the button to download the PDF with updated page labels.
