PDF to Excel Converter

There are many situations where you need to reuse table data from a PDF in a spreadsheet. You might want to total up line items from an invoice, pull numbers from a report into an analysis sheet, or rework published statistics in your own format. The problem is that PDFs do not store cell or column information, so copying text often breaks the table structure.

This tool addresses that by analyzing whitespace patterns in the extracted text — multiple spaces become column separators and newlines become row separators — to reconstruct a row-by-column table. The result is packaged as an XML-based XLSX file generated entirely in the browser. Each PDF page becomes a separate sheet, so multi-page documents stay organized.

Because table detection is whitespace-based, merged cells and highly complex layouts may not convert perfectly. However, for standard tabular PDFs such as invoices, price lists, and data reports, the output is practical and ready to open in Excel or Google Sheets, saving significant manual data entry effort. The tool also includes options to remove empty rows and export to CSV format for validation and further data processing.
