About PDF Redact

Each page is rendered as an image, the selected areas are blacked out, and a new PDF is created from those images. The original text objects, attachments, forms, and document metadata are not copied.

Coordinates are percentages measured from the bottom-left of the displayed page. You can specify multiple pages and areas. Open the saved PDF and confirm that all intended information is inside the blacked-out areas.

All output pages are images, so text selection and search are lost. Rendering has a resolution limit, and sharpness when zooming or file size may change. File processing takes place in your browser.
