About PDF/A Identification Metadata Editor

This tool saves PDF title, author, and PDF/A identification fields in XMP metadata. Setting those fields alone does not make a PDF conform to PDF/A.

It does not convert fonts, color reproduction conditions, or prohibited features to satisfy PDF/A requirements. PDF/A-1b and PDF/A-2b are values written into identification metadata.

For archival or submission requirements, use a dedicated converter and validate the result with a validator such as veraPDF. Saving with this tool provides no conformance guarantee.
