About Currency Converter
The tool multiplies an amount by a rate and also displays the inverse rate. Presets request reference rates from an external API. The fetched time is when this page received the data, not when the market rate was updated.
If retrieval fails, fixed reference rates with an unknown update date are used. Do not treat them as current prices; enter a suitable rate when needed. A delayed API response will not overwrite a manually entered value.
Conversion takes place in your browser. The page connects to an external API for rates, but the amount you enter is not part of that request. Check your provider's applicable rate and fees before exchanging or transferring money.
