現在価値計算ツールは、将来受け取る金額が今の時点でどれだけの価値があるかを算出するための計算機です。お金には時間的価値があり、今日の1万円と10年後の1万円は同じ価値ではありません。
このツールでは、PV = FV / (1 + r/m)^(n*m) の式を用いて、将来価値（FV）を年間割引率（r）、年数（n）、複利回数（m）で割り引き、現在価値を求めます。複利計算方式は年1回、半期、四半期、月1回から選べます。
割引率を1%下げた場合と1%上げた場合の現在価値も表示するため、前提を少し変えると結果がどれくらい動くかを確認できます。事業計画、キャッシュフロー比較、受取予定額の概算、不動産や設備投資のシミュレーションなど、数値の前提を整理したい場面で使えます。

The Present Value Calculator determines how much a future sum of money is worth in today's terms. Money has a time value — a dollar today is worth more than a dollar in the future due to its earning potential.
Using the formula PV = FV / (1 + r/m)^(n*m), this tool discounts a future value (FV) by an annual discount rate (r), years (n), and compounding frequency (m). You can choose annual, semi-annual, quarterly, or monthly compounding.
The calculator also shows present value when the discount rate is 1% lower or 1% higher, so you can see how sensitive the result is to your assumptions.
