It calculates the daily wage amount from your last six months of salary, applies the benefit rate (50%–80% for those under 60, 45%–80% for ages 60–64), and determines the prescribed number of benefit days based on your age, insurance period, and reason for separation.

Voluntary resignation results in 90–150 benefit days, while involuntary separation (specified eligible recipients) yields 90–330 days. Age brackets—under 30, 30–44, 45–59, and 60–64—each have distinct upper limits. If you resign voluntarily, a mandatory 2-month waiting period applies; actual benefit payments typically begin approximately 2 months after separation. For involuntary separations, benefits may commence more quickly.
