Under Japan's Labor Standards Act, employers must pay at least 25% extra for standard overtime (beyond statutory hours), 50% extra for late-night overtime (10 PM to 5 AM), and 35% extra for holiday overtime (statutory holidays).

The tool calculates your hourly base rate from monthly salary and scheduled working hours, then computes overtime pay breakdowns for each type instantly. Default scheduled hours are set to 160 hours per month, but you can adjust them to match your company's regulations. After calculation, the "Expected Total Salary (Base + Overtime)" is displayed, making it easy to verify pay slips and estimate compensation.
