A key feature is the "15-minute block decimal hours" display. In Japan and many international labor contexts, hourly wages are often calculated by rounding time to 15-minute (0.25-hour) increments. This tool displays both precise decimal hours and ISO 8601 labor-compliant 15-minute rounded hours side-by-side, ensuring accurate payroll entries. The 15-minute rounding standard is also used across most corporate timekeeping systems and payroll software worldwide.

When the end time is earlier than the start time (night shifts, late-night work), it automatically assumes the next day and indicates "Spans overnight."
